Rumors World of Warcraft: Shadowlands will support consoles in different games, and hopefully consoles, PlayStation 5 is included
Although it is possible to play World of Warcraft with a game console, the game does not fully support this form of control from the get-go. However, World of Warcraft: Shadowlands is expected to receive support from the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 controllers, so we can only wonder if the game will also collide with the Sony console.
If all goes well, World of Warcraft: Shadowlands should come later this year. Announced and available for pre-order on November 1, 2019, at BlizzCon, this is the eighth popular MMORPG expansion pack developed by Blizzard Entertainment.
Regardless of all the content-related changes, it seems that World of Warcraft players will also receive support for multiplayer game consoles.
The strings found by well-known platform Twitter, a software engineer at Fraunhofer ITWM, in the Shadowlands Alpha game file Default Gamepad Bindings with reference to three Sony consoles: PlayStation 4 Pro, PlayStation 4, and the next-generation PlayStation 5.
A file name should say everything, but there are many things that are likely to be revealed at launch. The main question to be answered will be World of Warcraft: Shadowlands will also be available for consoles? Unfortunately, there is still no answer.
As usual, all of the above should be taken with a grain of salt now. The game is still being tested as part of the alpha icon at this time, there is no official release date yet, so we have to live one day this year until further notice.
If you’re one of the few people who is actually testing World of Warcraft: Shadowlands, feel free to leave some of your thoughts in the comments section as long as there is no NDA involved they should keep you quiet right now of course.
